Job Description
The Virtual Construction Designer - Plumbing/Piping is responsible for generating 3D models of piping, plumbing, and/or ductwork systems, organizing and utilizing AEC data, and coordinating with project leadership. The role requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Fabrication, or Navisworks, as well as knowledge of building codes and construction practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of trade apprenticeship with CAD/BIM training or AEC experience with BIM/CAD training
  • 2+ years of Drafting/Design experience in Piping, Plumbing, and/or Sheet Metal industry
  • Proficient understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Fabrication, or Navisworks
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of building codes for plumbing and piping industries (if drawing piping or plumbing systems)
