Job Description
As a Virtual Construction Designer - Plumbing/Piping, you will organize and utilize AEC data for shop drawings, generate 3D models of piping and plumbing systems, and coordinate with other trades. You will also prepare final shop drawings and equipment take-offs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of trade apprenticeship with CAD/BIM training or AEC experience with BIM/CAD training
  • 2+ years Drafting/Design in Piping, Plumbing, and/or Sheet Metal industry
  • Working knowledge of construction practices with emphasis on mechanical systems preferred
  • Proficient understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Fabrication, or Navisworks
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of building codes for plumbing and piping industries (if drawing piping or plumbing systems) preferred
