Role OverviewJoin Northrop Grumman's Systems Engineering organization as a Virtual Simulation Software Engineer. Develop and modify software for pilot-in-the-loop simulation of combat weapons systems employment. Collaborate with a small, dynamic team to create real-time simulation software and frameworks.
What You Will Do
Design and implement real-time simulation software, create or adapt simulation frameworks and modules, partner with domain SMEs to translate aircraft/weapon physics into high-fidelity models, and support the design and development of visualization models and databases.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline
- 2 years of experience in software engineering (for Virtual Simulation Software Engineer)
- 5 years of experience in software engineering (for Principal Virtual Simulation Software Engineer)
- Experience in computer/engineering software development using C++ (preferred), C#, Java or other object-oriented computer languages
- Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret clearance
