Role OverviewVision therapists work one-on-one in a clinical setting to help children and adults achieve their best through Vision Therapy. They treat children with developmental learning delays and individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
What You Will Do
Plan and organize patient sessions, conduct therapy sessions, assign homework exercises, conduct and score perceptual testing evaluations, and complete paperwork.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong people/communication and development skills are required. The ideal candidate will maintain certification through continuing education and communicate with doctors and other professionals about patient progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Optical industry experience preferred but not required
