Role OverviewAs a Visiting Scholar, you will conduct research, train students, and engage in scholarly and professional activities in the laboratory of Guo-Chang Fan, PhD, Department of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Neurobiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The laboratory conducts research in the field of cardiovascular and systemic metabolism.
What You Will Do
Design and perform experiments, data analysis, interpretation, and develop new ideas that promote current research. Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts, and presentations of research results. Report progress in an organized fashion during group meetings and one-on-one meetings with the Principal Investigator.

Requirements
- Doctoral Degree in the appropriate field or discipline, or the recognized terminal degree and prior academic experience related to critical care or sepsis.
- Demonstrated experience in flow cytometry, immune-staining, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, real-time PCR, Western-blot, cell culture, and animal sepsis model as well as publications.
