Role Overview

The Vocational Rehabilitation Program Specialist will coordinate and review statewide vocational rehabilitation programs, serving as a subject matter expert on program policies and procedures. The role involves drafting program goals, developing procedural manuals, and collaborating with partners to implement initiatives that improve vocational opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to VR staff and contractors, maintain program-related databases, and create accessible documents. They will also lead meetings, trainings, and presentations to share updates and best practices.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling, counseling, social work, psychology, disability studies, special education or related rehabilitation or human services area
  • 24 months experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor or Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor
