Job Description
The VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION TECHNICIAN assists Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors with casework, provides services to eligible individuals with disabilities, and monitors client/reimbursement activities. The position involves working directly with customers, assisting with interviews, referrals, and case management, and communicating with vendors and employers.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in a counseling, job placement, job coaching, or public vocational rehabilitation program can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, access and use automated systems, interview clients, provide information and referral services, and establish effective working relationships
