Job Description
The VoIP Support Specialist role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a scalable, highly resilient, and cost-effective Enterprise VoIP infrastructure for the NYC Department of Finance (DOF). The successful candidate will support the high volume of daily MACD requests and ensure reliable voice service delivery to DOF users.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time experience in local area network and/or wide area network planning, design, configuration, installation, implementation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management
  • Professional/vendor certification in local area network administration
  • Certified IT Administrator (LA) title or comparable title
  • Reachability on the current open competitive exam no. 1111 civil service list
