Role OverviewThe Volunteer and Site Services Senior Director oversees the recruitment, training, management, and coordination of volunteers, as well as the operation and administration of site services. They ensure that volunteers are effectively engaged and supported, and that sites are adequately equipped and staffed to meet operational goals.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for volunteer engagement and site services, leading the volunteer and site services teams, and establishing long-term plans for volunteer recruitment, training, retention, and site management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of four years of experience in volunteer relations, community relations or fundraising for a not-for-profit or corporate organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Innovative, self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, CERVIS or other donor database/volunteer management system a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support FeedMore WNY events
- Passionate about the goals and values of FeedMore WNY
- Valid and current driver’s license and access to an automobile
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 35 lbs.
