Role OverviewThe Volunteer Engagement Manager leads Feeding Northeast Florida's volunteer engagement strategy, creating meaningful opportunities for community members to engage with the organization through service. The Manager develops new programs, builds structures, and trains Volunteer Coordinators to deliver a high-quality volunteer experience. The position oversees volunteer programs, including recruitment, check-in, orientation, recognition, and stewardship.
What You Will Do
Develop and implement volunteer programs, including the Teen Ambassador Program, Family Volunteer Days, off-site volunteer activities, Volunteer Captain Program, Care Team, and other specialized volunteer initiatives. Lead volunteer welcome and orientation, establish and monitor volunteer experience and customer-service standards, and develop strategies to encourage volunteers to return and deepen their involvement.

Requirements
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Experience developing, implementing, or managing volunteer or community programs
- Experience creating training, procedures, or program materials
- Valid Driver's License
