Role OverviewThe Volunteer Program Assistant plays a key role in recruiting, onboarding, coordinating, and supporting volunteers across multiple counties, helping to ensure our programs run smoothly and our mission continues to grow. This is a part-time position working between 20-30 hours a week.
What You Will Do
Assist with the recruitment and interviewing process of volunteers to work in all program areas, help compose postings for volunteer opportunities, gather information about each volunteer's skills and availability, and assist with scheduling and assigning volunteers to appropriate departments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience with volunteer coordination or human resources is highly preferred
- Experience in nonprofit or a related field is preferred
- Advanced computer skills; including proficiency with Volgistics (or ability to learn), Microsoft Office Suite, data applications, and a working knowledge of general office equipment
