Role OverviewThe VP, Corporate Controller will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and accounts payable activities across the organization. This role will be a key leader in the accounting function for corporate operations, real estate development/construction projects, and our property management company.
What You Will Do
The Corporate Controller will lead accounting operations, prepare and review financial statements, manage month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting requirements.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting in a multi-discipline real estate company, with significant experience in real estate development, construction accounting, real estate investment, or property management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation preferred
- 10+ years' experience in accounting in a multi-discipline real estate company
- Significant experience in real estate development, construction accounting, real estate investment, or property management
- Experience managing audits and multi-entity accounting environments
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
