Role Overview

Join IQVIA and help drive healthcare forward as a VP & Managing Director, Large Pharma. This role will lead one of IQVIA's most important strategic partnerships, combining clinical development expertise, strategic account leadership, and operational excellence to accelerate the customer's development portfolio and strengthen long-term partnership value.

What You Will Do

As the senior operational liaison between IQVIA and the customer's clinical development organization, you will serve as the senior operational liaison, lead the preferred provider partnership, mobilize global IQVIA teams, drive year-over-year organic growth, and sustain high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in clinical development, clinical operations, and global delivery models
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotechnology business models, development priorities, and operational challenges
  • 15–20 years of experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, clinical operations, commercial, business development, project management, data management, laboratory, or pre-clinical environments
  • Proven success in senior client management, strategic partnership development, and influencing C-suite stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and executive stakeholder management skills
  • Strong matrix leadership capability with cultural agility across global teams and complex client environments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results aligned with customer expectations, company objectives, financial goals, and quality standards
  • Solid financial analysis skills, including margin management, revenue planning, and strategic decision-making

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $165,400.00 - $460,800.00
