VP & Managing Director, Mid-size Pharma - US/EU

Join IQVIA as a VP & Managing Director, Mid-Sized Pharma to lead one of IQVIA’s important strategic partnerships. As the senior owner of the clinical relationship for designated mid-sized pharmaceutical customers, this leader will combine clinical development expertise, strategic account leadership, and operational excellence to accelerate customer development portfolios and strengthen long-term partnership value.

What You Will Do

Serve as the senior operational liaison between IQVIA and the customer’s clinical development organization, lead the preferred provider partnership, and drive year-over-year organic growth, expand customer market share, and sustain high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in clinical development, clinical operations, and global delivery models
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotechnology business models, development priorities, and operational challenges
• 15–20 years of experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, clinical operations, commercial, business development, project management, data management, laboratory, or pre-clinical environments
• Proven success in senior client management, strategic partnership development, and influencing C-suite stakeholders
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and executive stakeholder management skills
• Strong matrix leadership capability with cultural agility across global teams and complex client environments
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results aligned with customer expectations, company objectives, financial goals, and quality standards
• Solid financial analysis skills, including margin management, revenue planning, and strategic decision-making
