Role OverviewThe VP, Medical Science & Strategy - Rare Disease will drive strategic and measurable business outcomes, leading the most strategic client engagements, and shaping the company's positioning in the rare disease field. The incumbent will define and govern the rare disease portfolio strategy, translating market needs and client pipelines into growth priorities, service differentiation, and investment choices.
What You Will Do
Define and govern rare disease portfolio strategy, lead strategic client engagements, set standards for medical/scientific quality, shape strategic alliances, and partner with commercial, consulting, operations, regulatory, feasibility, and clinical leadership to convert scientific strategy into measurable revenue, win-rate, quality, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements
- MD required
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry leading Rare Disease clinical development programs
- Demonstrated track record as a recognized therapeutic expert and peer to pharmaceutical-industry medical/scientific counterparts
- Active medical license preferred but not required
