Job Description
Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a VP of Estimating to lead the estimating team and drive accountability towards innovative, competitive, and compliant estimates and proposals. The role involves maintaining relationships with clients and business partners, developing win strategies, and ensuring high-quality estimates and proposals.

Requirements

  • Transformational leader with demonstrated experience
  • Demonstrated experience as an innovator
  • Excellent communicator and an ambassador for the company
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 10+ years of preconstruction experience for a highway/heavy civil company
  • Proven track record, strong leadership skills, and experience managing complex projects and estimates more than $100 Million
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Ability to act decisively and effectively in stressful situations with a sense of urgency
