Role OverviewThe VP of Land Development is a key role intended to drive the feasibility, permitting, and development process. The VP will manage the forward planning process to initiate and complete all necessary due diligence and helps prepares Land Packages for the purposes of securing all corporate approvals, entitles all communities post Land Committee approval, and successfully steers new communities through the kickoff and new community opening process.
What You Will Do
Lead land acquisition due diligence, including consultant oversight, feasibility analysis, development budgeting, project scheduling, and risk assessment. Evaluate environmental, entitlement, engineering, regulatory, and political risks associated with prospective developments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering degree and Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 6-8 years of land development experience required.
- Expertise in environmental planning, master planning, platting, and land development processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, market analysis, and financial analysis skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, management, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
