Role OverviewThe VP, Portfolio Manager plays a key role in supporting the ongoing management and administration of the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Credit Officer, this position partners closely with lenders, credit professionals, and customers to ensure the portfolio is proactively managed, credit relationships are appropriately monitored, and loan requests and renewals are supported with complete and accurate documentation.
What You Will Do
The VP, Portfolio Manager will support construction and collateral functions within the Credit Administration Department, including coordinating construction lending draw requests, completing 2nd level appraisal reviews, and flood insurance checklists.

Requirements
- Monitor Commercial Loan Portfolio
- Work closely with the lending team to oversee a segment of First Resource Bank’s commercial loan portfolio
- Monitor annual review dates, financial ticklers and covenants to ensure First Resource Bank is maintaining current files for its loans and reviewing loans to determine risk in a timely manner
- Prepare Annual Reviews
- Assist in providing new loan request packages to the credit analyst queue
- Maintain outstanding relationship and teamwork with other credit, lending and loan administrative staff
- Support construction loan draw requests
- Support appraisal review process
- Support flood insurance review process
- Assist in coordinating preliminary and ongoing property, environmental and credit report orders
