VP SBL Loan Closing Officer III

The VP SBL Loan Closing Officer III role manages and performs advanced due diligence required to collect, review, analyze, and approve documentation necessary to facilitate SBA loan closings. Independently manages complex loan transactions while ensuring compliance with SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Bank credit approval, legal requirements, and internal policies.

What You Will Do

Collects, reviews, audits, and analyzes all documentation required loan closing, reviews SBA's Terms & Conditions and credit memorandums, performs detailed reviews to ensure compliance with SBA SOP requirements, and prepares, reviews, and validates all loan closing documents.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7 years loan documentation or SBA experience
• Extensive knowledge of SBA loan programs including 7(a), SBA Express, and 504
• Thorough understanding of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), commercial loan documentation, and closing requirements
• Advanced knowledge of SBA eligibility, loan documentation, and loan closing requirements preferred
• Experience with E-Tran preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills preferred
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage high volume pipeline preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills preferred
