Role OverviewAs a WAQTC Inspector, you will obtain representative samples of construction materials, review project plans and specifications, and perform field and lab inspection and testing on rebar, epoxy, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. You will deliver accurate test reports and daily diaries before leaving the jobsite, testing alongside the ITD Independent Assurance representative per WAQTC procedures, and support the Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and surrounding-area workload.

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include obtaining representative samples of construction materials, reviewing project plans and specifications, performing inspection and testing, and delivering accurate test reports and daily diaries.

- High School diploma/GED
- Possess current ACI qualification in field testing
- General computer skills such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Advanced understanding of construction materials testing
- Basic mathematic and writing skills
- Communication through phone calls and email
- Knowledge of ITD's reporting system and specification manuals
