Job Description

Location: Richmond International Airport (RIC) – Richmond, VA

PrimeFlight Cargo is seeking dynamic full-time Warehouse Agents and Ramp Agents to join our growing team at Richmond International Airport. PrimeFlight Cargo is an essential employer, delivering airfreight and cargo across the United States and internationally, providing direct services to our airline clients.

As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will provide prompt and efficient service to our airline clients and their passengers by performing a variety of warehouse and ramp-related duties. No experience is required for Warehouse Agent positions, as we offer paid training. Ramp Agent/Equipment Operator roles require a valid driver’s license.

Warehouse Agent Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound and outbound air freight

  • Load, sort, and unload packages

  • Organize warehouse inventory

  • Build and break down freight

  • Fill requested orders for shipment

Ramp Agent / Equipment Operator Responsibilities

  • Guide arriving aircraft to the gate safely without damage or injury

  • Unload baggage and cargo in a speedy and safe manner

  • Deliver arriving luggage to the claim area within client guidelines

  • Upload outgoing cargo and baggage according to load plan requirements

  • Dispatch aircraft safely without damage or injury

  • Maintain area cleanliness

  • Periodically check ground equipment for functionality

  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance

  • Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards

  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility in schedule when needed

  • Able to work with little-to-no supervision

  • Friendly and outgoing personality

  • Self-motivated and able to be a team player

  • Must be able to fluently read, speak, write, and understand English

  • Ability to work under stressful situations

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

General Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Reliable transportation

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Ramp Agent positions require a valid State Driver’s License with a verifiable safe driving record

Physical Demands

  • Continuously stand and walk for 6–8 hours

  • Repeatedly lift 70 pounds or more

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy bags

  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, squat, and reach

  • Ability to lift bags high enough to transport luggage

  • Ability to work in tight spaces
