Role OverviewThe Warehouse Coordinator/Shop Tech plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, shop facilities, and equipment. This position oversees inventory and logistics, manages shop fabrication and repair tasks, and collaborates with sub-contractors to facilitate seamless facility and equipment activities.
What You Will Do
Assist in unloading trucks, receiving shipments, and stocking inventory. Verify that shipments match what had been ordered and work with appropriate personnel to reconcile any discrepancies. Perform shop fabrication, assembly, testing, and repair of fire protection equipment, valves, and related components.
Why It Might Be a Fit
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shop mechanics, maintenance, shipping & receiving or a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
