Role Overview

The Director, Warehouse lead, develop, and execute warehouse functions in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment across multiple facilities totaling over 20M cases of annual volume. These functions include safety and security; in-bound, out-bound and, labor management, talent development; facility, equipment, and inventory management; manage the entire facility and its assets. Finally, the Director will ensure all regulatory compliance such as Sarbanes Oxley, OSHA, FDA, and others.

What You Will Do

Maintain accountability for operational effectiveness by demonstrating organizational leadership, using independent discretion to create and achieve long- and short-term strategic and tactical plans for multiple automated locations within market units guided by broad policies, objectives, and standards. Adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal, external levels and use these techniques to decide the appropriate approach while interacting with others at different venues, and drive employee engagement through floor presence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 7 or more years of work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in hands-on operational roles in supply chain management in a large consumer goods organization
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles responsible for leading operations management, leading professional-level people
