Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for establishing operational procedures for activities in the warehouse, including hiring and training new team members. This role involves verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining the warehouse inventory. The Warehouse Manager also inspects the physical condition of the warehouse, equipment, and vehicles, and prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment and vehicles.

What You Will Do

Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments, handles and disposes of materials, maintains the warehouse inventory, inspects the physical condition of the warehouse, equipment, and vehicles, prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment and vehicles, meets with department leaders to ensure coordination of warehouse activities, directs salvage of damaged and used materials, and provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have two years of warehouse work experience, leadership experience, and the ability to operate a forklift. They will also be able to read, write, and speak in English, and have a valid U.S. driver's license. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing other team members, carrying out leadership responsibilities, and ensuring that all drivers conform to DOT regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of warehouse work experience
• Leadership experience
• Ability to operate a forklift
