Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction within the local Distribution Center, managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team to achieve company objectives and productivity goals.

Responsibilities include efficient and effective warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership and development skills, and the ability to drive results and facilitate change throughout the organization.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 20-40 employees, and will be expected to provide leadership, development, and support to Warehouse Team Leaders and Warehouse Associates.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of warehouse inventory management procedures and systems, preferably NetSuite
• Familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques, and procedures
• A broad range of management skills, including leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership style that empowers, coaches, mentors, and fosters a cohesive team environment
• Experience, knowledge, and/or exposure to computers, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work variable schedules
• Special skills in the operation of a forklift in negotiating the lift in close quarters
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under a stressful environment
• Diligent and punctual
• Strong work ethic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Working well on diverse teams and highly collaborative
• Exceptionally motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Curious with a desire to learn; team player with a willingness to help where required
