Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising company strategy related to domestic, international, VAS and cartage freight warehouse operations through an understanding of industry trends and best practices. Work with international, domestic and cartage operations staff and internal AIT functions to provide the best overall warehouse service.

What You Will Do

Support warehouse operations staff in the day-to-day activities of Domestic, International, Pick Pack and Ship, and Cartage Freight Warehouse and Department personnel. Meet directly with local warehouse supplier/tools/equipment providers through all communication levels (email, phone, meeting, provider site visits). Utilize negotiation and communication skills to obtain desired results.

Requirements

• High School diploma and/or GED required
• Must be familiar with Warehouse (Pick, Pack and Ship), domestic, international and cartage freight forwarding warehousing services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficiency in WMS – 3PL Central
• Must possess clear written and verbal communications
• Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner
• Good time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Maintain satisfactory attendance
• Adhere to company policies, programs, and work rules
• Perform work in a timely manner
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Able to take direction and follow through multi-step project steps/procedures consistently
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
