Role OverviewThis role plans, assigns, and directs activity within our cold storage facility in a safe and orderly fashion. This role will also be primarily responsible for the selection, training and retention of our warehouse team.
What You Will Do
Direct supervision of a team of warehouse employees, including assigning work, setting and attaining performance goals, and managing performance in accordance with organizational policies and operating standards. Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning
- Ability to solve problems and present information effectively to customers, clients, and employees
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company)
