Role OverviewAssists with daily operations by supporting both warehouse and transportation functions as needed. Helps ensure efficient workflow by handling packages, assisting with route coverage when needed, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks.
What You Will Do
Assist in parking/fueling vehicles, cover routes when needed, ensure trailer cuts are made for timely delivery to branches, communicate with warehouse staff and other management to resolve discrepancies, manage security of the yard and building, and assist in stacking and sorting to ensure the flow of freight.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to operate a manual transmission, ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently, and ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
- 1+ year of experience in leadership and transportation industry preferred
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
