Role OverviewJoin the Seneca Foods team as a Waste Treatment Operator, working with plant staff on Environmental Compliance. Monitor and assist with day-to-day activities, delegate work to seasonal helpers, and report to the plant manager. Responsible for the upkeep of the seasonal Migrant camp.
What You Will Do
Perform daily irrigation tasks, conduct safety audits, ensure environmental regulations compliance, monitor run-off, and report to supervisor. Drive company vehicle, take water samples, maintain cost controls, prepare fields, collect data, and prepare reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate has excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to read and write English, with a valid driver's license. Illinois certified waste water operator preferred or ability to obtain certification.
