Job Description
The Watch Command Operations Manager provides strategic, administrative, and operational support to the Watch Command Unit, overseeing staff daily operations and providing guidance and managerial oversight during daily public safety incidents. The role involves developing reports and program data summaries, ensuring operational continuity, and implementing new operational or administrative policies and procedural guidelines.

Requirements

  • Supervises up to 15 staff members and delegates work to support division strategic priorities
  • Oversees staff daily operations, including scheduling, timekeeping, and overtime management
  • Trains staff on the operations of the unit and monitors individual performance
  • Develops reports and program data summaries for senior/executive staff
  • Ensures operational continuity and implements new operational or administrative policies and procedural guidelines
