Role OverviewWe are looking for a Water Meter Reader to record usage on meters through an electronic handheld device. This is a full-time position with work hours being Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The job requires the ability to lift meter lids weighing up to 45 lbs. throughout the shift and work on feet for eight (8) hours with repeated bending, crouching, and climbing.

The job requirements include recording accurate data in a timely manner, working safely, and being available to work overtime and Saturdays.

Requirements
- Have a clean background check, DMV report, and drug/alcohol screening.
- Be able to lift meter lids weighing up to 45 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Be able to work on feet for eight (8) hours with repeated bending, crouching, and climbing.
- Ability to work safely and record accurate data in a timely manner.
- Must be able to walk 5-10 miles a day.
- Lift over 50lbs.
