Role OverviewPerforms skilled craft mechanical and operational craftwork at the journeyman level in the operation, maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of water process equipment and components of water treatment plants. Work assignments are subject to established procedures, practices, or well-defined policies. Work requires knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, regulations, policies, methods, standards, and procedures governing operation and maintenance of water process equipment.
What You Will Do
Operates, maintains, installs, repairs, and troubleshoots process equipment. Monitors and inspects equipment to verify proper operation, identify problems, and take corrective action where needed. Provides plant operational support to the Process Coordinator.

Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, and two (2) years journeyman level experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of process equipment of the type used in water treatment facilities.

- Valid driver's license
- Minimum valid Class 'C' Florida Drinking Water Treatment Plant Operators License
- Valid American Welding Society Structural Welding Certificate (depending on assignment)
- Valid Class 'A' commercial driver's license (depending on assignment)
