Role Overview

As a Water Resources Engineering Intern, you will work under project engineers to apply design engineering and modeling techniques in water resource projects for federal, state, and local clients. You will focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, and presentations. Your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibilities will include working on projects such as flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues, and non-point source loading and point source design. You will produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studies.
