Role OverviewHDR is an employee-owned firm seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join its Water Business Group. The intern will work under project engineers on water resource projects for federal, state, and local clients, focusing on hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater, and flood control. This role supports public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience.
What You Will Do
The intern will apply design engineering and modeling techniques, produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and perform water resources studies. Responsibilities include hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, and civil design for construction documents. Limited field work may be required.
