Role OverviewAs a Water Resources Project Manager/Engineer at HDR, you will help shape how communities manage water for generations to come. You will work on complex challenges with bold thinking and technical excellence, making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
What You Will Do
You will provide project and task management, conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, collect and present data, lead design calculations and technical reports, and support leadership and expansion of HDR's consequence services and risk management program.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years of Water Resources experience, a professional engineering license, and expertise in water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics, and drainage/flood control design. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- A minimum of 10 years Water Resources experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- HEC-1, HEC-RAS, GEO-RAS, Storm CAD, Haested Methods
- Experience in water resources planning, hydrology/hydraulics and drainage/flood control design
- Familiarity with DOT drainage design criteria
- Experience in FEMA studies a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills
