Role OverviewThe Water Safety Instructor is responsible for conducting swim lessons for both group and one-on-one private swim lessons. Lessons are conducted in the morning hours and may also be offered in the evening.
What You Will Do
The instructor will design and implement training programs, provide instruction and feedback, and foster a positive and competitive environment for athletes.

The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of swimming fundamentals, progressions, and techniques for swimmers of all ages, and must be willing to teach swimmers of all abilities, including students with increased needs.
Requirements
- American Red Cross Water Safety certification
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification
- American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens certification
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
