Role OverviewHDR is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join their growing NTX/OK/AR team. The role involves planning, directing, and monitoring technical aspects of pump station, pipeline, drinking water, and wastewater design projects. The engineer will take responsibility for performing complex assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
What You Will Do
The primary duties of the Water/Wastewater Engineer include but are not limited to planning, directing, and monitoring technical aspects of pump station, pipeline, drinking water, and wastewater design projects. The engineer will make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed, involved with client relationships, function as a technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed, and supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task
