Job Description
We are seeking a WC Claims Specialist to manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and process various types of compensation. The ideal candidate will have 36 months of experience working in private insurance as a claims representative or equivalent position, or equivalent education and experience.

Requirements

  • Manages a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims
  • Communicates, coordinates & collaborates with internal & external stakeholders
  • Performs initial/subsequent claims investigation & determination within prescribed timeframes
  • Processes various types of compensation
  • Responds to customer inquiries
  • Follows Ohio Revised Code and BWC policies and procedures
