WDI Construction Management Intern, Spring 2027

Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative force that imagines, designs and brings to life all Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions and cruise ships worldwide. This Construction Management Intern role is part of the WDI Global Business Operations & Strategy segment, located in Orlando, FL, from January 2027 to June 2027.

What You Will Do

Under supervision, you will handle project construction efforts ranging from small scopes to multiple sophisticated projects. You will act as a point of contact with construction vendors and contractors, assist in delivering projects according to budget, schedule, quality and safety, and collaborate with creative, technical, engineering and construction teams. Responsibilities include coordinating QA/QC inspections, shadowing employees on structural and MEP coordination, and facilitating meetings to resolve critical issues.

This internship is ideal for students currently enrolled as a Junior or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field. You should have an understanding of the project development process, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, as well as computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet. The pay rate is $31 per hour for undergraduate students and $36 per hour for graduate students, with limited housing opportunities available.

Requirements

• Understanding of the Project Development process
• Understanding of scheduling, budgeting and quality control
• Expanded computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
• Must be fully available for the duration of the internship
