Job Description
The Contract Instructor shall deliver training to personnel located at overseas and domestic locations as specified in Department of State (DOS) operational plans, with a focus on Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years experience in the CBRN field as a certified State, Federal or Military first responder
  • CBRN training experience with civilian/military students
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of training precepts and techniques
  • Ability to transcribe technical information into wording and formats for comprehension
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Physical fitness to perform prescribed instructor duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with DOS and other federal agencies
  • Ability to reduce complex instructional materials to a simplified presentation
  • Experience working with foreign language translators/interpreters
  • Familiarity with standard training evaluation methods and mechanisms
  • General understanding of computer-use skills (Microsoft Office suite)
