Job Description
Purdue Northwest's Marketing and Communications department is seeking a Web Developer to join their team. The Web Developer will work within PNW’s website design system and is responsible for adding features, troubleshooting integrations and ensuring the web environment remains up to date, accessible and secure.

Requirements

  • Update the WordPress platform, plug-ins and installation, following a testing script through the Dev, Test and Live environments to ensure compatibility, performance and ongoing functionality (including custom elements and integrations).
  • Offer guidance, solutions and support to units throughout the university to enhance their websites and supporting marketing and outreach efforts.
  • Support website and web-based learning accessibility as part of the overall website improvement needs.
  • In coordination with the Marketing and Communications Leadership Team, posting timely emergency alert notifications related to crisis communication.
