Job Description
Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Web Developer in Herndon, Virginia. Create new Sponsor websites, provide operations and maintenance support, and redesign existing website applications.

Requirements

  • Create new Sponsor websites via Wordpress, Joomla or other various platforms.
  • Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) and content management support for Sponsor’s websites.
  • Redesign the existing website applications to add new features, optimize, scale or improve stability and performance.
  • Assess and validate web requirements across the Sponsor organization.
  • Use JIRA or SharePoint to manage and track requirements.
  • Enhance current applications.
  • Recommend transition strategy for moving legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Investigate potentially applicable IT solutions and tools.
  • Develop schedules and provide regular updates on status.
  • Develop project plans to include mockups and roadmaps for redesign of websites.
  • Enable close captioning and transcripts to make content 508 compliant.
  • Rebrand and rebuild websites to host multiple types of educational and training related media.
  • Provide O&M of all responsible websites to ensure they are up to date with current learning content and data.
