Role OverviewJoin Caterpillar as an experienced welder who can use equipment for Mig and Tig welding, general fabrication, and refurbishment. Work on a manufacturing shop floor, recognizing and avoiding hazards. Must be able to work with peers and individually, follow directions, and take coaching and feedback to improve performance.
What You Will Do
Comply with safety programs, weld per AWS and ASME standards, clean welds, and maintain a job log. Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and computers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have experience with GMAW and/or GTAW welding, hold or be willing to certify on specified welding methods, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with shop floor procedures is preferred.
