Role Overview

The Welder/Fabricator will fabricate and weld pressure vessels and related components in accordance with ASME code. The role requires previous experience in the field and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. The candidate will be expected to learn and operate various equipment, including overhead cranes and scaffolding.

What You Will Do

The Welder/Fabricator will perform work as a Floater in the Fabrication & Assembly, Pressure Vessel, or CNC Departments as assigned. The role requires the ability to read blueprints and process sheets accurately, and to follow safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED
  • 2 year degree in Welding Technology preferred
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding experience preferred
  • Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) experience preferred
  • Ability to pass a 6G welding test according to ASME code
  • Ability to read blueprints and process sheets accurately
  • Experience with measurement tools, preferred
  • Metal Fabrication experience preferred
