Role OverviewMcCarthy Building Companies is looking for a skilled welder pipefitter to support our mechanical group with large commercial projects in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. The role requires experience with various welding techniques and certifications.
What You Will Do
The candidate will be responsible for welding, pipefitting, and working in a prefabrication shop and out in the field. They will also be required to pass a 6G position welding test for carbon steel pipe.

Requirements
- 6G Pipe Certified
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on construction projects
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Knowledge of aspects of surface preparation, electrode storage, welding machine set up, etc.
- Must be self-motivated
