Role OverviewThis position reports to Welding Supervisor and the Welding Lead, responsible for fulfilling assigned duties and having authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production, including pulling and welding parts to print or specifications, following Work Instructions, and reworking as assigned.

Requirements
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Capable of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to consistently and on daily basis safely stand, twist, bend, stoop, reach, kneel
- Must be able to correctly and safely lift up to 53# with or without the assistance of a lift or device
- Must be able to wear the required OSHA PPE which may include: respirator
- Highly dependable, motivated and self-driven with excellent attendance
- Ability to follow, understand and strictly abide by the Work Instructions
- High level of attention to detail is a must
- Able to use handheld tools correctly and safely
- Able to read and write legible as defined by company standards
- Ability to gain knowledge of company products and comply with quality, environmental and safety policies procedures
- Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of JOST’S Basic Processes
- Must pass pre-established requirements for company visual and penetration standards as determined by supervision
- Must be able to accurately and correctly read and comprehend blueprints
