Role OverviewAssists various assigned crafts journeymen in job setup and performance of work. Works in an industrial environment, assisting with welding, cutting, and other tasks.
What You Will Do
Perform tasks such as laying out parts, preparing surfaces for welding, determining equipment and welding methods, and assisting with cutting and contouring metal plates.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of machines and tools used in welding, experience working in oilfield or petrochemical plant maintenance and/or construction, and be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must own and be equipped with usual hand tools required for facilitation of Welder Helper duties
- Valid driver's license including ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer
