Role Overview

As a Welder II, you will assemble, align, and weld various subassemblies and assemblies of moderate to advanced complexity using various equipment. You will also perform preventive maintenance procedures and contribute to a team effort by training others in welding tasks.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assembling, aligning, and welding subassemblies and assemblies, performing preventive maintenance, and training others in welding tasks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for someone with at least one year of formal welding training or equivalent experience, 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment, and basic computer skills.

Requirements

  • Holds a High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • Has at least one year of formal welding training or the equivalent level of experience
  • Has 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to safety use small hand and power tools, measuring tools, air tools and welding equipment
  • Must be able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Must be able to perform Mig and Tig welding in various positions
