Role Overview

As a Welder II, you will assemble, align, and weld various subassemblies and assemblies of moderate to advanced complexity. You will work in a manufacturing environment, using equipment such as oxyacetylene torches, straight edges, and clamps. You will also perform preventive maintenance procedures, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and contribute to the team effort by training others in welding tasks.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include assembling, aligning, and welding subassemblies and assemblies, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. You will also be responsible for training others in welding tasks and contributing to the team effort.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for someone who holds a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, has at least one year of formal welding training or equivalent experience, and has 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment. You must be able to safety use small hand and power tools, measuring tools, air tools, and welding equipment, and have basic computer skills.
