Role OverviewThe Welder will work with the Fabrication Manager and other coworkers to ensure that all jobs are fit to their specifications and meet the drawing or best practice requirements/tolerances. The Welder will perform various tasks such as lifting or moving materials, hammering, chipping, and grinding workpieces, laying out and examining materials, and positioning and fitting parts to form complete weldments.
What You Will Do
The Welder will perform tasks such as lifting or moving materials, hammering, chipping, and grinding workpieces, laying out and examining materials, and positioning and fitting parts to form complete weldments. The Welder will also notify CWI for necessary pre-weld inspection and sign-off, and document actions by completing production timesheets.

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
